Amtrak California 
Recently, program participants of the Bakersfield Community Inclusion program had the opportunity
to sample railway transportation northbound on Amtrak California's San Joaquin route.
Above, Gina Imera and William Tortell get comfortable and settle-in for their ride to Wasco while
Gerald Fleming takes a moment to orient himself to the train's path up the Valley.
Afterwards, Gerald shared that he had a great time both on the train and in Wasco where he and
others had the chance to see some of the many thousands of rose plantings there.
He very much enjoyed the trip and would like the opportunity to travel to Fresno by train some time in the future.
